CASA of Williamson County, TX (CASA Wilco) is excited to announce that it has been awarded a significant grant from the W.D. Kelley Foundation. This grant comes at a crucial time as CASA Wilco faces increasing challenges in child welfare services, and it will support the organization in hiring a Marketing Coordinator to address these needs. CASA Wilco is also delighted to introduce Christina Clary as their newly appointed Marketing Coordinator to the team.
The W.D. Kelley Foundation, renowned for its commitment to improving education and human services in Williamson County, has recognized the exceptional work carried out by CASA Wilco through the awarding of these funds. CASA is currently experiencing a decline in volunteerism, in line with national trends, while the number and severity of cases continues to grow post-COVID. This generous grant will enable CASA to strengthen its marketing and communications efforts, ensuring that their critical mission and services reach a wider audience.
“We are deeply grateful to the W.D. Kelley Foundation for their support,” said Marissa Austin, Chief Executive Officer of CASA Wilco. “This grant will empower us to amplify our voice and expand our reach, ultimately enabling us to serve even more vulnerable children in our community. We are also thrilled to welcome Christina Clary as our new Marketing Coordinator. Her expertise and experience will undoubtedly contribute significantly to CASA’s success.”
Clary joins CASA Wilco having previously served as the Marketing Manager for ROCK, Ride On Center for Kids. With nearly a decade of experience in the marketing field, Clary brings a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the team. “I am honored to join the CASA team,” said Clary. “The work that we do is so important to our community, and I believe that effective marketing and outreach play a pivotal role in furthering the impact of organizations like CASA.”
CASA Wilco has long been recognized as a vital resource for children in the county’s child welfare system, providing them with a voice in court proceedings and guiding them toward safe and loving homes. The support from the W.D. Kelley Foundation grant and the addition of Clary as Marketing Coordinator will enable CASA Wilco to meet the growing challenges faced by the organization and further its impact on the lives of vulnerable children.
